T&T Freezes Assets Linked to Hezbollah, Hamas and Iran’s Revolutionary Guard

Trinidad and Tobago has formally designated Hezbollah, Hamas and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as terrorist entities, triggering an immediate freeze on any assets linked to the groups within the country. The High Court orders, published in the Extraordinary Gazette, require continued six month reviews by Attorney General John Jeremie and mark one of the most significant uses of the Anti Terrorism Act in recent years.
