Trinidad Weather Forecast: Hot with Afternoon Showers Expected

The official weather forecast for April 21, 2026, predicts hot and sunny conditions across Trinidad, Tobago, and the Lesser Antilles. Issued at 06:04 AM, the forecast indicates a slight haze in the atmosphere, with isolated showers expected, particularly in western Trinidad. The chance of these showers is about 40%, and they could range from moderate to heavy during the afternoon hours.

As the day progresses, temperatures are expected to reach a maximum of 33°C in Piarco, following a minimum of 24.0°C recorded last night. Crown Point will see slightly cooler conditions, with a forecasted high of 31°C after a minimum of 24.4°C.

Tonight, fair weather is anticipated, providing a pleasant evening for residents. However, those sensitive to air quality changes should be aware of the mild concentration of Saharan dust currently affecting the region. Precautions are advised for individuals who may be impacted by this dust, as it can cause respiratory discomfort.

Overall, residents should prepare for a hot day with potential showers, while remaining mindful of the air quality.
