Tobago’s Chief Secretary Seeks More Decisive Power

Chief Secretary Farley Augustine has voiced his disapproval of ‘outsiders’ making decisions that affect the island of Tobago. He firmly believes that the island should have a more significant say in matters that directly impact it. To this end, he is advocating for a Chief Secretary seat on the National Security Council, which would empower Tobago with a stronger voice in crucial decisions.
