Four expatriates, including three from India and one from Bangladesh, each won Dh25,000 in Big Ticket Abu Dhabi’s second weekly e-draw for July, setting their sights on the Dh20 million grand prize scheduled for August 3. The winners, spread across Oman, the UAE, and Bahrain, expressed joy and encouraged others to keep participating.
T.a.mohammed Riyas, a 57-year-old from Kerala working in Oman’s cyber market industry, has been taking part in Big Ticket for over a decade as part of a friend group. He plans to save his winnings. Shibin Ramachandran, a 48-year-old sales professional in the UAE, couldn’t believe his first win after seven years of monthly participation and confirmed via livestream.
Jojo Thundiyathu Yohannan, a 38-year-old finance manager from Kerala based in Bahrain, won after two years of trying. He hopes to use his share to support children’s education. Foyaz Ahmed Rani, a Bangladeshi expat in the UAE, purchased his winning ticket online. The August 3 live draw will award Dh20 million to one winner and additional prizes including a Maserati Grecale and Land Rover Defender.
