Three individuals were apprehended during a recent State of Emergency operation in the Central Division, with police seizing a rifle and multiple rounds of ammunition. The operation, named Operation Steady Guard, was carried out in the Cunupia district from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on March 12. The search of a house on Munroe Road led to the confiscation of the weapon and ammunition. The detainees include a 33-year-old man from Cunupia, and a 30-year-old man and 24-year-old woman from Longdenville. Officers Bhagwandeen, Frank, Glodon, Reyes, and Joseph coordinated the operation, and investigations are still ongoing.
