The National Gas Company (NGC) of Trinidad and Tobago has entered into a new gas sales agreement with Point Lisas Nitrogen Limited (PLNL). The deal ensures the continued supply of natural gas to PLNL’s ammonia plant located at the Point Lisas Industrial Estate. Following negotiations between the two companies, NGC states that this new contract will enable PLNL to keep its operations running smoothly. PLNL, a manufacturer of anhydrous ammonia for global markets, relies on this gas supply to meet its contractual obligations and support the local energy sector’s economic activity. Furthermore, NGC anticipates that maintaining this production will also boost national revenue through exports and associated economic activity.
