The company’s food segment, which includes its KFC business, generated an attributable profit of just 54 million baht on sales of 11,325 million baht in the six months to March 31, 2026, a profit margin of about 0.5%. This accounted for only 0.34% of ThaiBev’s total group profit, highlighting the segment’s thin returns against the core beverage business.
KFC is operated by Yum Brands, headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, which also runs Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. ThaiBev had not responded to a request for comment, and Bank of America declined to comment.
