Suomen NHL-lupaus räjäytti hallin huutoon – Juuse Saros joutui pettymään

Pittsburgh Penguins won a 3–2 overtime game against the Nashville Predators on Friday night, with Finnish forward Ville Koivunen scoring the decisive goal. Koivunen, who has played ten games this season and recorded two goals and three assists, fired a shot from the center of the ice that found the back corner of the Predators’ net after a brief loss of puck control. The goal came in overtime, giving the Penguins a 3–2 victory. Penguins’ goaltender Juuse Saros made 34 saves, stopping 34 shots and keeping the team in the lead through the end of regulation. Saros also made three saves behind his back. The Finnish goalie remained in the net until the final minute of the game, ensuring the Penguins stayed ahead. Predators defenseman Kris Letang won a faceoff near the blue line, but the Penguins’ offense was too quick for him to recover the puck. After the faceoff, Koivunen moved toward the center of the ice before shooting. The game was tied 2–2 at 58:54 of total time, when Penguins forward Rickard Rakell scored to give Pittsburgh a 2–2 tie. The Penguins then went on to win in overtime.
