SPECIAL OLYMPICS GIBRALTAR TEAM SET FOR EUROPEAN SWIMMING OPEN IN MALTA

Special Olympics Gibraltar has dispatched a team of four athletes to participate in the inaugural Special Olympics European Swimming Open in Malta. The competition is scheduled to take place from Thursday, September 10, through Sunday, September 14.

The event is being hosted at the National Swimming Pool Complex in Tal-Qroqq, Malta. Organizers have described the competition as a significant milestone for the Special Olympics swimming program within Europe, marking the first time the event has been held.
