Resolvieron el misterio por el cual los parques de Disney no tienen espejos en sus baños

Disney parks employ a range of design tactics to manage visitor flow and maximize time spent in attractions, dining, and retail. According to Popular Science, queues are intentionally arranged in non‑straight lines and separated by opaque walls. This layout makes it difficult for guests to gauge how many people are ahead of them, creating the impression that lines are shorter than they actually are. The corridors are also decorated with eye‑catching themes and feature screens that display stories related to Disney characters. A time counter is placed at the beginning of each queue to give guests a sense of how long they will wait. A new tactic that has recently come to light involves the bathrooms in the parks. Apartment Therapy reports that Disney deliberately omits mirrors above the sinks in these facilities. The absence of mirrors is intended to reduce the amount of time visitors spend in the bathrooms. Without a mirror, guests are less likely to pause to check their appearance, which can add minutes to their visit. By encouraging quicker bathroom use, Disney aims to keep guests moving through the park, thereby increasing opportunities for them to experience attractions, purchase food, and shop for merchandise.
