Four gymnasts from the Clube de Futebol Estevense (CFE) in Santo Estevao are preparing to represent Portugal at the upcoming Trampoline World Championships in China this November.
The athletes, Francisco Jose, Lucas Santos, Ines Correia, and Beatriz Mendes, are currently training at the Santo Estevao Sports Pavilion. Each gymnast enters the competition with specific goals, ranging from establishing themselves at the senior level to competing for spots in the finals.
For Lucas Santos and Francisco Jose, the world championship serves as part of a broader development path aimed at qualifying for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
The athletes will undergo a final evaluation before the world event at the Loule Cup, which is scheduled for October 8. The coaching staff accompanying the team includes Bruno Nobre, Carlos Matias, and Joao Engracio.
