Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Regional Planning, Said Sayoud, called for a shift in the management of public projects during a visit to Boumerdes on Saturday. Speaking at the installation ceremony for the new wali, Amine Benmalek, the minister emphasized the need to prioritize the economic and social impact of state-funded initiatives.
During the event, Sayoud instructed the new wali to conduct a precise diagnostic assessment of ongoing and planned projects within the province. The directive aims to ensure that public investments are managed more effectively to maximize their benefits for the local population and the broader economy.
