On 9 September 2026, the Togolese government launched the second edition of its national school kit distribution campaign for girls in Blitta‑Gare.
The ceremony was presided over by Dr Sandra Ablamba Johnson, secretary‑general of the Presidency of the Council, and attended by Minister of National Education Mama Omorou, other government officials, and Marie‑Chantal Uwanyiligira, World Bank division director for Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Guinea and Togo.
