2027: Re-elect My Husband, I Want to Enjoy Nigeria in Old Age – Remi Tinubu

First Lady and Senator Oluremi Tinubu urged women and voters in Nigeria’s South‑East to back President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. Speaking in Owerri, Imo State, she said she hopes to enjoy a better Nigeria in her old age if her husband is re‑elected.

The appeal was made on a Wednesday, with Tinubu addressing a crowd of supporters and calling on the region’s electorate to support the incumbent president’s bid for a second term.

Oluremi Tinubu is the wife of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and has served as a senator representing Lagos Central. She has previously been active in political and social campaigns across the country.

Her statement was reported by The News Chronicle, which covers national and international political developments.
