Princes Town man found after overnight search dies while awaiting medical help
A search for 41-year-old Map Karamath of Princes Town ended in heartbreak after he was found alive in a forested area this morning, but later died while awaiting ambulance assistance and medical attention.
According to information shared by the legitimate Hunters Search and Rescue Team led by Commander Shamsudeen Ayube, Karamath went behind his home yesterday morning at around 8:30 a.m. and entered the forested area. When he did not return, relatives, friends, and members of the search team launched efforts to locate him.
Searches continued from yesterday evening into this morning, when Karamath was eventually found alive in the forest. However, before he could receive urgent medical treatment, he sadly passed away.
The Hunters Search and Rescue Team also warned the public about misinformation being circulated by a fake Facebook page falsely claiming that Karamath had been taken for medical treatment. The team said the page has shared incorrect information on several occasions.
Condolences have been extended to Karamath’s family and friends during this difficult time.
