A 32 year old man was shot and killed outside his home in Princes Town during the early hours of Saturday morning.
The victim has been identified as Xavier Brathwaite of St Julien Village, Princes Town.
According to police reports, around 2:50 am, a relative who was inside the family’s home heard several loud explosions. Shortly after, Brathwaite was discovered outside the house suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to the Princes Town District Health Facility for emergency medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival at approximately 3:20 am.
Officers attached to Homicide Region Three are continuing investigations into the fatal shooting.
