Gibraltar netball umpire Natalia Porter has been selected to officiate at the Europe Netball U19 Event 2026, which will take place in Nottingham from 6 to 8 November. Porter, who holds an A‑Award umpire certification, was invited to the competition as part of the Europe Netball Glass Ceiling Project. The project provides dedicated mentoring, support and feedback to participants throughout the event. Porter, a student at the university hosting the tournament, said she was “extremely excited about this opportunity, especially as it is being held at the university she is currently attending.” She added that the assignment would be an excellent chance to continue progressing along her development pathway. The event will bring together under‑19 netball teams from across Europe, and Porter’s appointment is seen as a significant step in her umpiring career.
