The Guyana Police Force (GPF) is actively investigating the alleged death of wanted man Jamal Bourne, known as ‘Skinny’, which supposedly occurred during a TikTok Live broadcast. The video, now removed, showed Bourne with a firearm, issuing threats and singing gangster-style lyrics. He was seen placing the firearm to his temple and pulling the trigger, subsequently appearing to inflict a gunshot wound on himself. Despite the widespread concern and speculation, the GPF has not received any official reports of Bourne’s death from any of Guyana’s 12 policing divisions. Bourne is wanted in connection with the 2024 murder of Akeem Hamer. The investigation into the authenticity of the video and the circumstances of its recording continues.
