Police Association Raises Alarm Over Officer Welfare After Killing

The Consolidated Association of Municipal Police has raised serious concerns about the wellbeing of officers following the murder of WPC Anuska Eversley. The association says officers are experiencing trauma, uncertainty and a lack of communication from authorities. It also claims requests for time off have been denied and that officers are being forced to continue duties without proper psychological support. The group is calling for urgent intervention, including counselling services and stronger leadership engagement, warning that morale within the service has been significantly affected.
