A passenger has raised concerns about the condition of a Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) bus after claiming the vehicle’s floor was severely rusted.
The man said he travelled on the bus yesterday and noticed sections of the floor appearing weak and corroded. According to him, the rusted area raised concerns about safety for passengers moving inside the vehicle.
He alleged that when the issue was mentioned, the driver advised passengers to walk along the side of the bus instead of stepping on the affected section of the floor.
The claim has sparked discussion online, with some commuters saying ageing buses remain a concern on certain routes.
There has been no official response from PTSC regarding the reported condition of the bus
