The government of Pakistan has issued a formal condemnation regarding a reported attempt to target Makkah, as well as ongoing Houthi attacks directed at Saudi Arabia. During a weekly media briefing held on Thursday, Foreign Office spokesperson Sajjad Haider Khan stated that there can be no compromise regarding the sanctity of the Holy Mosques or the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the kingdom.
The Pakistani government reaffirmed its support for Saudi Arabia in the wake of these reported security threats. The statement emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to the protection of the kingdom’s borders and the security of its religious sites.
