A family business in Italy has been operating for nearly a thousand years. For a millennium the Marinelli family has produced bells in the village of Agnone, located in the Molise region of central Italy. The small family enterprise has attracted the attention of the Papacy; in 1924 Pope Pius XI granted the Marinelli family permission to use the papal coat of arms on the bells they manufacture. The craft, passed down from generation to generation, has made the name of Agnone known worldwide. The story continues on Mediafax Italia.
