The Council of Ministers has accepted a grant assistance of USD 1.81 million to be provided by the South Korean government, according to government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel.
The decision was made during the cabinet meeting on July 16. The grant is expected to support development projects in Nepal, further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
Details on specific projects to be funded have not been disclosed yet. The acceptance of this grant reflects continued international cooperation for Nepal’s development.
Other cabinet decisions included formation of a talks team for loan shark victims and approval of new coin designs.
