MV Blue Wave Harmony, a vessel on its sea trial, faced hull damage at Scarborough’s Port on Friday. The ship, currently in its commissioning process, was on its second sea trial, having sailed from Port of Spain to Scarborough. The damage occurred during berthing operations on Friday morning, with only crew members on board, and thankfully, no injuries were reported. The vessel is now secured at the port with safety protocols in place. Weather conditions such as strong winds are believed to have contributed to the incident. Despite the incident, port operations and inter-island ferry services continue as usual. Technical teams are currently assessing the damage, and further updates will be provided upon completion.
