Aqiyl Punnette, a 36-year-old man who had been reported missing by his relatives, was found dead at the Lange Park Recreation Ground. He had last been seen by his family on February 23, and concerns grew when they lost contact with him and his location remained unknown. Police received a report on February 24, 2026, that a man was found motionless at the recreational ground. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found Punnette’s lifeless body with a head wound. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
