The search for fire officer Bruce Lezama, who was reported missing, has ended tragically with his body being discovered off the Arima Old Road. Lezama, a 46-year-old ambulance driver, was feared to have been abducted. His body was found by his colleagues who had organized a search team. Lezama was last seen on Christmas Day and failed to report for work two days later. Family members found his home open but empty. A silver Nissan Tiida, owned by Lezama, was later found and towed for processing. CCTV footage showed two men assaulting Lezama, tying him up, and forcing him into his vehicle. Further investigations revealed that one of Lezama’s bank cards was used to withdraw approximately $2,500 from an ATM in Arima.
