A tragic incident occurred at Flower Pot Beach in Marabella on Wednesday afternoon, October 1st, 2025, when a 57-year-old man drowned while swimming. The deceased has been identified as Collin Trabulay, a resident of Pointe-a-Pierre Road, San Fernando. According to police reports, around 1:00 p.m., Trabulay encountered difficulty while in the water. Relatives present at the scene pulled him to shore and attempted to resuscitate him before contacting emergency health services. Trabulay was then rushed by ambulance to the San Fernando General Hospital. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, doctors later pronounced him dead. Following the incident, his body was ordered to be removed to the San Fernando Mortuary pending a post-mortem examination. Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are currently ongoing.
