A major crash involving multiple vehicles unfolded along the South Trunk Road near Paria Suites in La Romain on Tuesday night, leaving a scene of significant damage and prompting concern among motorists.
Video from the scene shows several damaged vehicles positioned along the roadway, including a white vehicle with extensive front-end damage and a dark-coloured vehicle that appears to have sustained heavy impact damage to its side. Additional vehicles are also visible in the area, suggesting the incident may have involved at least three vehicles, although authorities have not yet confirmed the exact number.
Debris can be seen scattered across the roadway as police and emergency lights illuminate the scene. Several people were also observed gathered nearby while emergency personnel appeared to manage the aftermath of the collision.
Earlier reports indicated that a red vehicle had been found overturned in the vicinity. However, it remains unclear whether that vehicle is connected to the larger crash captured in the video. The circumstances that led to the collision have not yet been confirmed.
