Luka Modrić, the 42‑year‑old Croatian midfielder, remains a key player for both AC Milan and the national team, continuing to perform at the highest level of world football. He was instrumental in Milan’s 3‑1 victory over city rivals Inter, a result that highlighted his enduring quality and physical readiness. The Italian sports weekly La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Sportweek issue featured Modrić on its cover following the derby.
