Kidnapped Woman Freed after Month-long Ordeal

Claribel Tardieu, who was abducted with her husband Derrick on Monos Island last month, has been released, according to Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro. The confirmation of Claribel’s freedom came through a WhatsApp message to the media on January 8. Guevarro stated that Claribel is currently receiving medical attention and will soon be reunited with her family.
