Kenapa Adidas gandeng banyak klub sepak bola Indonesia?

**Adidas Expands Presence in Indonesian Football Through Multiple Club Partnerships**

**JAKARTA** – German sportswear brand Adidas has significantly increased its presence in the Indonesian football market, becoming the official apparel supplier for several clubs competing in the 2026/2027 BRI Super League.

Currently, five major clubs—Persija Jakarta, Persik Kediri, PSIM Yogyakarta, Bali United, and PSM Makassar—have partnered with the brand. This expansion marks a strategic effort by Adidas to integrate its global standards into the local football ecosystem.

**Strategic Partnerships**
The partnership with Persija Jakarta, announced on Monday, June 22, at the Adidas Brand Center in Grand Indonesia, Jakarta, is considered a cornerstone of this expansion.

Cinita Dewi Mayakatri, Senior Manager of Brand Activation for Adidas Indonesia, stated that the collaboration aims to combine Adidas’ global innovation with the tradition and strong supporter base of Indonesian clubs. “This partnership marks a new chapter in Adidas’ commitment to supporting the development of Indonesian football,” Mayakatri said.

Persija Jakarta President Mohamad Prapanca noted that the long-term agreement is intended to elevate the club’s professional standards. “We see a shared vision to present the best standards and provide pride for the entire Persija family, the Jakmania, and Jakarta,” Prapanca said.

**Market Potential and Fan Engagement**
Adidas’ strategy focuses on leveraging the significant potential of the Indonesian football market, characterized by a large and passionate fan base. By providing official kits, the brand aims to integrate its products into the identity and lifestyle of supporters, moving beyond simple match-day apparel.

The company identified several key factors driving this expansion:
* **Youth Market:** Football remains a central interest for Indonesia’s younger generation, with jerseys and sportswear serving as key elements of youth identity and lifestyle.
* **Professional Ecosystem:** The collaboration provides local clubs with access to international-standard equipment, which contributes to the professionalization of the sport.
* **Community Reach:** By partnering with clubs across different regions, Adidas aims to build a broader presence within local football communities.

Industry analysts suggest that the move is part of a broader effort to strengthen the local sports ecosystem. As Adidas continues to build its portfolio, the brand seeks to foster a deeper understanding of the Indonesian market while encouraging active and competitive engagement among young athletes and fans.

With the current roster of five clubs, Adidas has established a visible footprint in the Indonesian top-flight league, with the possibility of further partnerships in future seasons.
