Jatli Police in Rawalpindi arrested two individuals on September 10, 2026, for allegedly possessing illegal weapons and ammunition.
According to a police spokesperson, the arrests were the result of separate operations conducted by the Jatli Police. During the operations, the officers seized a number of illegal weapons and ammunition from the suspects.
Separate cases have been registered against the arrested persons under the relevant laws governing the possession of firearms and explosives.
Superintendent of Police Saddar Anam Sher said that the police would continue operations against persons involved in illegal possession of weapons.
These arrests are part of an ongoing effort by the Rawalpindi police to curb the illegal arms trade in the region.
