Illegal Arms, Drugs Seized in Trinidad Police Operations

In a series of coordinated anti-crime operations conducted across Trinidad and Tobago, the Police Service has successfully apprehended five suspects while seizing four illegal firearms, 132 rounds of ammunition, and a significant quantity of narcotics. The operations spanned the Northern, Port of Spain, and Central Divisions within a 24-hour period. Among the arrested individuals are a suspect linked to an Arouca robbery and three men found in a stolen vehicle. The narcotics seized included 148 grams of cannabis, five grams of cocaine, and nine cannabis plants. Further investigation into the seized items and arrests is ongoing.
