Monaco have maintained the same medical conditions for former Belgium international Vincent Kompany. The Belgian defender collapsed during a training session with the club’s second team and was admitted to hospital. After a brief stay, doctors discharged him and prescribed complete rest. Club officials have instructed all coaching staff not to discuss football matters with Kompany in preparation for the upcoming match against Borussia Dortmund. Interim head coach Aaron Danks confirmed the directive in a press conference, saying: “If we discuss line‑ups and tactics? No, absolutely not. Nothing at all. We take the situation very seriously. I have received clear instructions from Max and Christoph not to talk to him about anything related to football and to ensure that Vince focuses solely on his health and spending time with his family.” Danks added that the club is “very strict” and wants Kompany to recover properly so that he can return in full fitness and contribute effectively. He emphasized that football should not be involved in his recovery process.
