Nawaraj Nepali Baglung, 14 Kartik In Baglung Municipality‑1, the Ramrekha‑situated Mandanda area has become a hub for flower production in preparation for the upcoming Tihar festival. Local farmer Kamal Thapa has been cultivating seasonal and off‑season flowers for the past three years in three plastic tunnels. The crops, which include the popular “Sypatri” flower, are now ready for sale. Thapa is targeting Tihar shoppers and is also selling off‑season Sypatri flowers to devotees who visit the nearby Kali temple. The flowers are being marketed as a fresh, locally grown option for the festival’s celebrations.
