Ferit Hoxha, Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, urged Albanians living in the Preševo Valley to participate in the elections held today. In a message addressed to the community, Hoxha stressed that voting is a fundamental democratic right and a means to strengthen their representation and future prospects. “Every vote matters. The greater the participation, the stronger your voice for rights, representation, and the future of Albanians in the Preševo Valley,” Hoxha said. He concluded by calling on citizens to go to the polls: “Go and vote. For your voice, your rights, your future.” The call comes as local elections take place in the region, which has a significant Albanian population in southern Serbia.
