Caribbean Airlines has announced the introduction of daily non-stop flights between Toronto and Georgetown, Guyana, effective July 1, 2026. This new service aims to provide customers with greater flexibility and convenience, coinciding with the peak summer travel season.
The airline, headquartered in Trinidad, noted that the expanded schedule comes in response to the growing travel demand between Canada and Guyana. This demand is driven by various factors, including business, leisure, and family travel.
The daily flights will increase capacity and offer more travel options for customers, while also supporting tourism, trade, and economic activity between the two countries. Caribbean Airlines’ Acting CEO, Varma Khillawan, emphasized the importance of Guyana as one of the airline’s key and rapidly growing markets. He stated, “The introduction of daily Toronto to Georgetown flights reflects our commitment to meeting customer demand and strengthening connectivity between Guyana and North America.”
Khillawan highlighted that the new service will benefit travelers whether they are flying for business, leisure, education, or to reconnect with family and friends. The enhanced service is expected to support Guyana’s ongoing economic expansion and its increasing international profile, while also facilitating travel for members of the Guyanese diaspora living in Canada.
As a leading carrier in the region, Caribbean Airlines continues to invest in its network and fleet to ensure reliable service and seamless connections across the Caribbean, North America, and South America. Customers can book flights through the Caribbean Airlines website, mobile app, reservations call center, ticket offices, and travel agents.
