At Gecko Gallery NYC, co-founder Joseph Megerell is dedicated to animal conservation and education. Unfortunately, around 20 to 25% of reptiles are now facing endangerment, with many lacking safe habitats to return to. At the Gecko Gallery, the focus is on breeding and maintaining genetically stable populations of these remarkable reptiles. By doing so, they hope to not only sustain these species but also to leverage their healthy populations for future wild population rehabilitation.
