Franska blodbanker angreps – ”förhöjt riskläge”

This week, several Swedish grocery chains reported that their refrigeration systems had been compromised by a cyberattack, forcing the disposal of large quantities of perishable food. The incident, which affected multiple stores across the country, led to significant waste and raised concerns about the security of food supply infrastructure. Similar attacks have been documented in France, where hackers targeted blood banks using methods comparable to those employed in the Swedish grocery incidents. According to officials, the French attacks did not involve food products, but the techniques used were strikingly alike. There is currently no evidence that Swedish blood banks have been targeted. “But in general, there is an absolutely heightened risk level,” said Fredrik Jacobsson of Region Skåne. Jacobsson emphasized that authorities are monitoring the situation closely and are working to strengthen protective measures for critical facilities.
