The Peloton of Memory, an international commemorative event honoring victims of Stalinist deportations and freedom fighters, took place across several countries during the second half of August 2026. The initiative was held in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, and the Republic of Moldova.
Launched ten years ago by the Sybir Memorial Museum in Bialystok, Poland, the Peloton of Memory serves as a collaborative effort among museums in Central and Eastern Europe. The project aims to unite these institutions in a shared act of remembrance for those affected by totalitarian regimes.
