Fitzgerald Hinds Presents Petition for New Attorney Admission; Justice Seepersad Emphasizes Integrity in Law

On a memorable day, 26th June, 2026, Fitzgerald Hinds was honoured to present the petition for a young professional, Jabbarie, to be admitted to practice law in Trinidad and Tobago. The event was a gathering of legal minds, with Hinds introducing and interacting with prominent figures like Stuart Young, SC and James Philbert, Attorney at Law. Both these gentlemen also had the privilege to present petitions for other aspiring legal professionals.

The event was a significant occasion, marking the induction of 56 new entrants into the legal profession. Hinds, having recently returned to his practice, found the event thoroughly pleasing and professionally rewarding. Among the new inductees were many faces he had not seen during his years away from practice, sparking a sense of reunion and renewed camaraderie.

The highlight of the proceedings was an inspiring address by Justice Frank Seepersad. His address was a clear and clean statement of principle, highlighting the absolute necessity of integrity in the field of law.
