Exclusive: NIMASA DG Dayo Mobereola Burnt N1.83 Billion on Air Tickets and Visas, N687 Million For International Meeting In Just One Year

The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has reported that its Director‑General, Dr. Dayo Mobereola, spent ₦1,826,557,876 on air‑ticket and visa expenses during 2024.

According to a report by Secrets Reporters, the total travel bill includes ₦57,750,000 allocated for board travel tickets and ₦1,045,320,376 for other air‑ticket and visa costs. The report also cites an additional ₦687,000,000 spent on an international meeting within the same year.
