Virat Kohli scored 74, and India reached 304/2, seemingly in control. However, Sam Curran’s four-wicket haul sparked a collapse as India lost three wickets for 12 runs. Jofra Archer also dismissed KL Rahul.
India finished on 360/7, falling short by 27 runs. Rohit’s 138 is now the highest individual score by an Indian against England in England. The loss means India will have to regroup ahead of their next international assignment.
