Elderly Woman Robbed in Santa Cruz Home Invasion

A disturbing incident took place in Santa Cruz on Friday 13th March, 2026 when a 75-year-old woman was victimized in a home invasion. The woman was at her residence along La Canoa Road, preparing for her day around 6:55 a.m. when she discovered three intruders in her home. Threatened with a knife, she was forced to surrender her valuables. The criminals applied duct tape over her mouth to silence her and locked her in a bedroom closet before making their escape. After managing to free herself, she found that they had taken jewellery, two cellphones, a folding case, and an HP laptop. The local authorities are currently investigating the incident.
