Bolivia to Begin Returning $5,000 to Savers on August 14
The Central Bank of Bolivia has announced that it will start a new phase of returning dollar deposits to savers on August 14. According to the bank, this phase will cover deposits ranging from $3,001 to $5,000.
In a statement, the Central Bank of Bolivia reminded the public that the new phase of deposit returns will commence on Friday, August 14, 2026. However, it appears there was an initial error in the reported start date, as the original announcement mentioned July 14, but the correct start date is actually August 14.
The Central Bank of Bolivia will begin returning $5,000 to eligible savers as part of its efforts to return deposits in the financial system.
