The victim, operating his vehicle for hire along the Port of Spain to Morvant route, was requested by the suspects for a drop to Valley Drive, Morvant. The men claimed they were picking up two women for a party in Carenage. Upon reaching the destination, the suspects threatened the driver with firearms, stating, “This is a robbery — don’t make it a murder.” The driver complied, handing over his keys and wallet, which contained his driver’s permit. Before making off with the vehicle, the suspects let the driver remove his snow cone machine from the trunk. The suspects remain at large, despite efforts from the Morvant Police Station and North Eastern Division Operations to canvas the area.
