A bold thief managed to steal $100,000 in cash during a daytime robbery in Bamboo #1. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, around 12:30 PM. The victim, who had parked his black Honda CRV at the intersection of Nabbie and Persad street, was carrying a night bank deposit bag with the cash inside. He was alerted to the crime when he was informed that someone had accessed his vehicle. However, by the time he returned to his car, the suspect had already taken the money bag and escaped in a silver Hyundai Elantra with the registration PCU 5348. The St Joseph CID, headed by PC Roopnarine, is currently investigating the audacious mid-day theft.
