Daylight Home Invasion in Rousillac: Four Robbed at Gunpoint

In a shocking daylight robbery, four people were subjected to a terrifying ordeal when two armed men stormed into their home in Rousillac on March 31, 2026. The incident, which unfolded around 12:30 p.m., saw the suspects brandishing firearms and announcing a robbery.

Fearful for their lives, the victims complied as the suspects carried out the heinous act. The assailants stole various items including a gold chain valued at $3,000, a Samsung A12 cellphone, and $800 in cash from one of the victims. Another victim was relieved of his BLU cellphone and $600. A third person lost a gold Spanish link chain valued at $1,500.

The terror did not end with the thefts. Another victim was physically assaulted with the assailants pushing him to the ground. After the crime, the suspects made their getaway on foot, disappearing from the scene along Balkissoon Trace.

The authorities swiftly responded to the crime. Officers from the La Brea district and the South Western Division Crime Scene Investigation unit processed the scene. Investigations into this alarming incident are ongoing as the police continue their hunt for the suspects.
