Customs Officers at Larnaca Airport Seize 48 THC Vapes Hidden in Package

On August 5, customs officers at Larnaca Airport discovered 48 vaping devices containing THC and CBD hidden inside a package from the United States. The package had been declared as containing children’s toys.

The seizure was made by Customs Department officers working at the Post Office Parcel Exchange at Larnaca Airport. The package was inspected, revealing the concealed vaping devices.

The discovery was made as part of the customs officers’ routine inspection of parcels at the airport. The package had been misdeclared, with the sender stating it contained children’s toys, when in fact it held the vaping devices.
