Curepe Man Murdered in Early Morning Attack

Yesterday morning, a tragic incident occurred in Curepe when a local man, Shawn Lezama, 47, was brutally killed. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. According to his common-law wife, she heard several gunshots around 5.30 am on February 11. Upon investigating the noise, she found Shawn lying on the ground outside their residence on Mc Donald Street. Immediately, she raised an alarm and together with a neighbour, they rushed Shawn to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the doctors pronounced him dead.
